This water tower at Nagambie has always facsinated me…I wonder how long that creeper has been growing?
Nagambie is about 50kms from our house.
Covered in ivy…how beautiful! Here in Chicago, though many have been removed, water towers were built on the tops of buildings due to the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. They were all on ‘stilts’ and not nice-looking architectural elements at all!
You’re certainly travelling a bit more, aren’t you, in that new Yellow Lancer!
I took the Water Tower photo on my way to collect it. My Dad kindly collected the August Positive Words from the printer for me and we met at Nagambie as he and Mum headed off on a little holiday. Great timing and saved me a longer drive as well as a brief chance to say ‘hello’.
That’s all interesting information about the Chicago towers 🙂
