A Step in the Write Direction
Oh, they look so sweet, Lancer, as they grow tall enough to reach the fencing! BTW, have you ever ‘pickled’ your green beans? Sweet/sour or ‘dilled’, when served chilled, they make a wonderful treat at dinner on a hot summer evening.
It’s a bit like watching your children grow and reach milestones! I’ve never tried pickled green beans but they sound yummy. I’ll remember to look for a recipe when the crop is ready. I’ve planted another row along another wire, so we’re sure to be ‘full of beans’.
That’s great, because fresh beans are so wonderful…much more tender and sweet than those from the grocery! Good growing, my friend!
