On the last day of autumn, my spinach is enjoying the welcome rain . . . let’s hope for some winter sun to follow and we’ll soon have muscles like Popeye 🙂
Another scene from Bendigo Pottery 🙂
I bought this beautiful piece of fabric recently. It makes me smile every time I look at it 🙂
Some plants and flowers bring back memories of people I’ve known . . . Alyssum always reminds me of my Grandmother who had them dotted through her garden. She had lots of different plants but for me as a child these stood out and I can’t pass a display without thinking of her.
I’ve got some seeds ready to sow for spring 🙂
A Bantam egg . . . just laid and still warm 🙂
I love the look of old bricks used as paving . . . this yard is at the Bendigo Pottery.
“The person determined to achieve maximum success learns the principle that progress is made one step at a time. A house is built one brick at a time. Football games are won a play at a time. A department store grows bigger one customer at a time. Every big accomplishment is a series of little accomplishments.” David Joseph Schwartz.
I also love this quote 🙂
