  4. Thank you for dropping by at my new blog! I love this site. I might just have to enter that competition of yours seeing as I am just in time!

    • Thank You, too 🙂 Glad you like it and hope the daily prompts bring some inspiration for many new poems and entries in lots of competitions 🙂

Thanks for liking my blog post. Your blog with the prompts for inspiration is an interesting approach to get people writing.

    • Thanks – I was a writing tutor for several years and now put out a monthly magazine.
I love reading so many of the craft blogs as I’ve always loved knitting, crochet, sewing and trying new things. Your big granny blanket really caught my eye 🙂

  10. Hi Liz
I was looking for the results of the May competiton – Goldfish. I can’t find them anywhere. Can you tell me who won please? thanks Judy

  11. Well we can all do with a bit of inspiration sometimes. Great idea, writing prompts. Will keep popping back.

    • Thank you 🙂 I remember at one of the first writing groups I attended the leader told us all to ‘write for twenty minutes’. We all sat looking at each other and all wondering what to write about! It’s so much easier with a prompt 🙂

  12. Hey there… thanks for visiting my blog and liking a few poems 🙂

    • No worries, I’m glad I happened on it and really enjoyed reading them. You are doing great writing one every day (and a picture). I’m very good at starting but not so good at keeping it up 😦 But I have managed to put a new photo-prompt on everyday for amlost 6 months, so perhaps there’s hope for me 🙂

  13. I have nominated you for the Beautiful Blogger Award. I hope you will accept. Pop over to Fluffy Moments on my blog for the details.

  14. Thank you for liking my blog. Love to be able to contribute to positive words. Are you able to able to email me a copy of a front page of one of the issues. Keen to see what it looks like. Thank you

    • No worries 🙂 send me your email address (positivewordsmagazine@live.com.au) and I’ll send a photo. I’ve had almost the same cover since I began ten years ago. The printer who helped me so much in getting started got his son to design it. Sadly, that printer passed away about four years ago but I will always be very grateful for how much he and his wife and son helped with encouragement and a great printing job. And, the company I use for printing now are really good, too 🙂

  15. Thanks for the like on poemation, it’s very interesting to see what you’re up to over here! Might send you a poem when one’s looking pretty enough!

    • That would be great! Really enjoyed your Friday poem. And congratulations on sticking to the poem a week – I’m good at starting similar things but don’t always keep them up.

  16. Hello! Thank you so much for dropping by my blog. It’s so new that I’m continually surprised (happily so!) when people find it and stop by. Thank you, too, for the “like” on my “Beloved” post. I’ve been rambling around your site here, and I love it. Such a fantastic concept. Thanks so much for doing something like this! =D

    • Hi! Your blog is truly ‘lovely’ and very well named. I especially loved the photo and poem at the top. Like you, I don’t like housework but my Mum (who is a fabulous housekeeper) cheered me up many years ago saying ‘You’re creative – you can’t do everything.’ It’s been my excuse ever since!
And thank you for reading my blog and your very kind comments. This month it is ten years since I started the magazine – WOW! I don’t think I imagined it would last this long but I am so glad it has and hoping for another ten 🙂

  17. This blog is so useful and it motivates me so much! I have nominated your for the very inspiring blogger award. • Thank you very much! I am very glad I can offer a little inspiration. I’m not sure if I can list 15 other inspiring blogs, not that there aren’t many more than that out there but I know several of the ones I follow no longer accept awards due to being busy. I understand that and I will do my best! Thanks again 🙂

  18. […] also entered many of the Positive Words Magazine monthly short story competitions and a couple of my stories have been shortlisted which is great […]

    Terry

Thank you for my copy of Positive Words with my story in it – it’s always thrilling to see your work ‘in print’. I am also enjoying reading the work of others (I haven’t finished reading yet) – I especially found “Ring Barked Tree’ by Rhonda W Rice evocative and moving.

    • Thank you Debra – I really enjoyed your story and am sure readers will, too 🙂
I will pass on your comments to Rhonda – I’m sure she will be thrilled! Next to seeing one’s work in print is hearing that it touched someone else 🙂
