Someone’s not talking to me 🙂

These alpacas just around the corner from our house have been recently shorn but it looks like they’re still wearing Ugg-boots 🙂
A great idea for a children’s story although Ugg-boots are definitely not needed here today…shaping up to be another warm one.
Our neighbours-across-the-road have Alpacas but I rarely see them near the front of the property. A couple of days ago I noticed them peeping over the fence as I did some mowing but by the time I raced (well, sort of lolloped, scrambled, jogged!) back to the house to get my camera they’d moved 😦
But I took a photo anyway 🙂
Most people can’t help but ‘ahhhhh’ when they see these cute animals with their cute teddy bear faces. My Mum loves them and she and Dad go on holiday or a Sunday drive, they often stop to look at and take photos of them. We’ve often talked about getting one or two; perhaps one day!
Some people say they are quiet and easy to manage [and, of course the ones I’ve patted at shows etc always are 🙂 ] while others say they are stubborn and difficult. The chooks stories are rolling in after I mentioned that I didn’t have any for the October issue . . . but no Alpaca tales! What are your experiences with alpacas?
