Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Another ‘car’ prompt . . .

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

I hope it inspires some fun writing 🙂

Cars Submissions

A prompt to get you started for CARS submissions . . .

The Lemon.

I hope it inspires some great stories and poems 🙂

Call for submissions

Over the next few months I will be using lots of stories, poems and articles on the theme CARS.

Your first car, first driving experience, favourite car, toy cars.

Fact or fiction, serious or tongue-in-cheek, longer and shorter pieces will all be welcome.

Submissions need to be in hard copy with electronic copies requested for longer pieces on acceptance.

Submission guidelines are here: Submissions & Subscriptions for Positive Words

There is no deadline – I will be using car-themed pieces over several issues.

If you would like a sample copy of Positive Words magazine please send $2.80in unused stamps to The Editor, Positive Words magazine, Sandra James, PO Box 798, Heathcote 3523, Victoria, Australia.

Neutral Tones

Do you prefer neutral tones or colours?

I recently counted fourteen cars parked in a row in our main street all in shades of silver or grey. And busy supermarket or shopping centre car parks look a lot like Fifty Shades of Grey!

I love my Yellow car and it’s so easy to find in the car park 🙂

They say the red ones go faster but looking at the cobwebs . . . this one’s been sitting for a while!

Restoration Project

I always wonder when I see old cars abandoned . . . did the owners plan to restore them to their former glory but lost motivation, didn’t have the cash or never found time?

A bit like some of our literary projects 😦

Mustang Magic

This car created lots of interest in the foreshore car park at Geelong . . .

I still prefer my Yellow Lancer 🙂
