Last night, just before midnight (when I was in danger of turning into a very tired pumpkin) I passed the target 50,000 words in this year’s NaNoWriMo challenge. It felt good 🙂
In past years I have crossed the line much closer to the end of November but this year it seemed much easier to write well beyond what I needed each day. Am I more experienced? Probably. Less stressed and busy? I wish! Or did I just have a much better idea/plot/story to begin with? Perhaps, but more likely it was just the right time for this one.
I’m hoping I can continue to add to my novel each day, unlike past years when I did have good intentions but they petered out much too quickly.
And . . . perhaps on that magical one day, I’ll also revisit my past efforts and bring them to a satisfactory conclusion 🙂
Wouldn’t that be loverly? 🙂
Unfortunately, the November Positive Words magazine is still not ready but I have been assured it will be available for pick up on Monday and I will post them all out . . . 🙂
Thanks for your patience and kind emails.
My NaNoWriMo novel is still going well and I’ve now passed the 30,000 word mark. If I can keep this up I’ll reach the target several days early and maybe even keep going and finish the story (I’m sure it will have a bit to go after 50,000 words)
I’m thoroughly enjoying it. How are your novels going?
Apologies to all waiting and checking their mailboxes for the latest issue of Positive Words magazine.
There has been a delay at the printer’s but I’m hoping to pick them up tomorrow and have them all posted out asap 🙂
As I wait for the call to go and collect them, I’ve been busy with my NaNoWriMo novel. It’s going well, the best since I started doing the November challenge in 2012. I’m ahead of target, past the halfway mark and the ideas are still flowing 🙂
26,502 words 🙂
Are you doing the challenge? How are you going?
My fingers have been busy typing my effort for this year’s NaNoWriMo challenge.
Writer’s cramp or typer’s cramp? Either way I’m happy with my efforts and I’m ahead of the target with 8962 words 🙂 and the ideas are still flowing.
Are you doing the challenge this year? How are you going?
A little inspiration for some weekend writing . . .
Surely the cold, dark days were finally behind them.
Happy writing 🙂
A writing prompt on a chilly morning here in Heathcote . . .
Thick frost crunched on the ground beneath her feet.
I confess I haven’t experienced it this morning, just looked out the window . . . that’s close enough for me just now!
I’ll stay here by the fire for a little longer 🙂
Once again – sincere thanks to all who entered. I really appreciate the support.
