Today’s prompt . . .

Goodbye 2013

Rod sunset 031

And, so the sun sets on another year . . . where did it go?

Time for reflections, resolutions (I must send more stories/poems to Positive Words magazine!) . . .

Happy New Year everyone 🙂

Today’s prompt…

My photo doesn’t fully capture the beauty of last night’s sky. Imagine those pink/red clouds a few shades deeper and you’ll know why I stopped watering last night and ran inside to get my camera 🙂

Pink Sky at Night

Today’s prompt . . .

This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago but we did have a pink sky last night, too. And a frost this morning…brrrr.

Victoria was rocked by an earthquake last night just before 9pm. I was talking to Rod on the phone (he was staying at his son’s house near Melbourne as he had to get up early for work) when he said he felt an eerie jolt, followed by the sound of several of the neighbours’ front doors as they went outside to investigate.  My son Pip rang soon after telling me the ceiling fan in his house was shaking so much he thought it was about to fall and his dog upset. Pip lives just a few kilometres from where it started south of Moe. Nothing here. The earth did not move for me!

Fishing at Dusk

Todays writing prompt…

Lake Eppalock on a balmy autumn evening.

Perfect peace but only one small Redfin. . . there’s always next time 🙂
