Windy Weather

A writing prompt for today:

It’s an ill wind . . .

Yes, it’s windy here and has been for several days 😦

I can hear it now whistling around the corner of the house.

Coming out of the Fog

Today’s writing prompt:

Out of the fog emerged . . .

Hope the idea prompts some interesting stories and poems. Don’t forget that submissions (hard copy) for the magazine are always welcome and I have started working on the 2015 issues, so please send them in 🙂

Me . . . I’m emerging from a very, very foggy brain after completing the NaNoWriMo challenge on Sunday. Phew!!

Home alone as my husband had another commitment, I gave it my very best shot and although I’m sure it will need major editing, changes and re-writing, at least it will be something to work with . . . but definitely not until the New Year!

Frosty

Today’s writing prompt:

A Touch of Frost.

Yes, it’s on TV tonight but also we have a late frost forecast here overnight. Brrrr…

Weather

Today’s writing prompt:

Four seasons in one day!

Something often said of Melbourne/Victorian weather.

Today, here in Heathcote, we have 16 degrees Celsius, cold wind, rain and I travelled through some hail earlier on my way home from Geelong. Yesterday 30 degrees and hot, hardly a breath of wind. At least it’s never boring 🙂

A Cold Snap

Today’s prompt . . .

Suddenly, the air turned icy.

Inspired, of course, by the weather forecast here in Heathcote . . . seven days/nights of frost 😦

Did someone break a mirror?
